Grandma Hot Eggnog

Hot Egg Nog :

1 quart of milk
5 egg yolks
1/3 C sugar
1/4 tsp salt
3 Egg whites
3 T sugar
1/2 C bourbon or brandy ,rum

Scald milk- Beat egg yolks with 1/3 c sugar -add salt,milk together cook until thicken. Beat egg whites and add 3 T sugar until fluffy. Fold egg whites into milk mixtures and Add liquor. Serve hot with fresh grated nutmeg .
