It's National Chili Day !!










  • 4 T butter
  • 2 onions /chopped
  • 2  lb ground chuck 
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 can whole tomatoes
  • 1 can enchilada sauce 
  • 2 T salt/ pepper
  • 3 T cumin seeds/ chili powder
  • 1 jalapeno chopped
  • 1 1/2 C boiling water
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper
  • 1 can pinto beans( add in last 15 minutes ) 
Saute onions in butter. Add ground meat saute well done. Add rest of ingredients and slowly cook for 2-3 hours.
